Sadly, nothing. I am trying to get accustomed to not drinking since I’m going to be living with a host family in two weeks. That said, if I were drinking I would be drinking a Stella!

Stone Brewing is doing a bunch of limited rereleases for their 20th anniversary this month. I’m having one of them.

I went to their Richmond brewery yesterday and had a couple of others, their current Enjoy By IPA and their Imperial Russian Stout. They don’t mess around.

Drakes 1500 Pale Ale. Mighty fine... Now that I started back drinking after 5.5 years, I’ve been more about fewer beers, but with more flavor (as opposed to 18 Natty lights).

I got a serious haul at the hippie grocery store today. I’m starting with a Coppertail Brewing co Free Dive , but I also picked up some Fat Head’s Head Hunter my new favorite, a couple bottles of Victory Hop Ranch , some Green Flash Road Warrior , a Duckrabbit Barleywine and a Stone Mocha IPA just for fun.

Yep, got a bottle of it in the fridge. It was a toss-up between the black IPA and the Ruination, and the black IPA won out because it had a slightly higher ABV.

It’s good. Bitter, but not as hoppy as Ruination. It’s oddly refreshing. I have a Mocha IPA in the fridge as well. I think it’s their seasonal beer for the fall.
